Welcome to All Black Money (ABM)… my name is Dante Fortson and many of you probably know me from Black History In The and my pro black Facebook political rants. As part of my ongoing quest for black betterment, I started talking about small changes I was learning about when it comes to money in general. Lots of people had questions, so I put together this site to help any of our people that are really making an effort to build wealth and achieve a better life.

The 3 Biggest Myths About Money

A lot of what the black community believes about money comes from myths spread by other people. These myths are often used to justify failure and lack of action. The truth is that many of our people don’t know because they haven’t bothered to look for themselves to see if these myths are true.

It Takes Money To Make Money

This may have been true in the past, but we live in the age of drop shipping and affiliate programs. Drop shipping allows you to run an online store, set your markup price, and get paid without having to buy inventory or ship a single order. Affiliate programs pay you just for placing links online and sending traffic to online stores like Amazon, Walmart, and more. When people click your links before they shop, you get paid, and it doesn’t cost a dime to get started.

I Need To Make More Money

Making more money is often not the solution to any of our problems. There are people that get a raise every year or move to higher paying jobs, and still end up living paycheck to paycheck. We already have more money that we think, but we often don’t understand how to free that money up. That’s where financial education comes in.

Financial Education Doesn’t Matter

I’m not sure why some people don’t think it’s important to financially educate themselves, but they are 100% wrong. Financially educated people understand that it doesn’t always take money to make money, we don’t always need to make more money, and financial education is a game changer in terms of wealth building.
